TURNERS

Compost turners are machines designed to mix, aerate and turn organic materials in compost piles, speeding up the composting process and improving the quality of the final compost.

TYPES OF COMPOST TURNER

SELF PROPELLED

They are independent machines with their own traction system and motor from 5,000 to/a

SELF-PROPELLED HS SERIES

Comfortable cabin with air conditioning and ventilation, accessible from the left side.

Large rotor for complete performance and mixing.
Hydraulic tailgate prevents material migration, reducing space requirements and improving safety.
Diesel engines from Caterpillar, John Deere, or Yanmar. Easy maintenance with integrated platforms.

Tarpaulin rolling systems available on all models.
Additional options: tanks with pumps for irrigation, inoculation or odor control, and connections for hose reels.
Models: HS 2700, HS 3000, HS 4000.

DRAG

Trailed: They are attached to a tractor and are effective from 600 to 5,000 to/a

AFH, KFS, LHS SERIES TRAILED.

They are mounted on a single axle frame, where the tunnel is hydraulically lifted into transport position. It features a robust tubular frame, heavy-duty hydraulic cylinders and gears, a concrete counterweight, a tailgate, and rubber skirts. Hydraulically controlled machine functions.

Series:

Model AFH/TAF 3000

  • Dragged
  • Maximum stack height 900m3/h
  • Maximum stack width: 1,700 millimetres
  • Maximum mound width: 3,000 millimetres
  • Diesel engine power: 90 – 100 HP

Model AFH/TAF 3500

Model KFS 3000

  • Dragged
  • Maximum stack height 900m3/h
  • Maximum stack width: 1,700 millimetres
  • Maximum mound width: 3,000 millimetres
  • Diesel engine power: 90 – 120 hp

LHS 2000

LHS 2500

  • Dragged
  • Maximum pile height +- 450m3/h
  • Maximum stack width: 1,400 millimetres
  • Maximum mound width: 2,500 millimetres
  • Diesel engine power: 50 – 60 HP
  • LHS Series tumbler basic and more economical. Two 3-point hitches positioned at 90° angles for the working position and the second position for transport; it does not rise vertically. This basic unit does not have protective curtains and is not equipped with a tailgate. Hydraulic controls are not required.
  • KFS Series 3-point hitch tipper, without chassis, with hydraulic lift cylinder, rubber mud flaps, and tailgate. Hydraulic controls for all functions.
  • AFH/TAF Series It has a hydraulic drive shaft, which provides traction for the compost turner and tractor at the required speed. This unique option does not require the ultra-low-speed transmission on the tractor, as is common with other models. The drive shaft allows it to be used even with older tractors.

TURNERS

THE FLIP

Controlled aerobic composting is recommended. The oxygen content in the compost pile should be measured every day. In the CMS method, this is done through a so-called derived measurement, through the CO2 content. If the CO2 level rises above 12%, the oxygen content falls to 5%, it will be necessary to flip.

The temperature should not rise above 65 ° C and the humidity should be between 50 and 60%.
