PRE-COMPOSTING EQUIPMENT
ADVANTAGES OF CLOSED TREATMENT
- Treatment at source, avoiding centralized systems, collection and transport of organic waste, saving natural resources in transportation.
- Ideal for treating organic waste from large producers and small isolated populations.
- It requires few space requirements and installation is quick.
- It favors differentiated collection systems and improves recycling rates.
PRE-COMPOSTING
Our Pre-composting technology develops the first phases of the composting process quickly and
safe. The artificial heating system
favors the development of thermophilic bacteria responsible for the development of the first phase of composting in which the most complex sources of C, such as cellulose and lignin, are degraded. From 60ºC, bacteria that produce spores and actinobacteria appear, responsible for breaking down waxes, hemicelluloses and other complex compounds of C. This phase is also called sanitization.
DRYING
As a consequence of the temperatures reached during the thermophilic phase, a significant loss of humidity and therefore volume of the residues takes place, reaching a decrease of up to 90%.
MATURATION
At the end of the pre-composting process we will obtain a young compost that will need to undergo a maturation process so that it reaches all its qualities as a natural fertilizer.
